South Western Kenya is the heartland of the Masai. At the heart of these lands is the Masai Mara Game Reserve, widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. The Mara comprises 200 sq miles of open plains, woodlands and riverine forest. Contiguous with the plains of the Serengeti, the Mara is home to a breathtaking array of life. The vast grassland plains are scattered with herds of Zebra, Giraffe, Gazelle, and Topi. The Acacia forests abound with Birdlife and Monkeys. Elephants and Buffalo wallow in the wide Musiara Swamp. The Mara and Talek rivers are brimming with Hippos and Crocodiles.

The Masai Mara is Kenya's most celebrated game park, it offers the possibility of seeing "the big five" and many other species of game. Each year the Mara plays host to the world’s greatest natural spectacle, the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. From July to October, the promise of rain and fresh life giving grass in the north brings more than 1.3 million Wildebeest together into a single massive herd. They pour across the border into the Mara, making a spectacular entrance in a surging column of life that stretches from horizon to horizon. At the Mara River they mass together on the banks before finally plunging forward through the raging waters, creating a frenzy as they fight against swift currents and waiting crocodiles.
The wildebeest bring new life to the Mara, not just through their cycle of regeneration of the grasslands, but for the predators who follow the herds.

        KSS 11 : 9 days/ 8 nights  Amboseli, Nakuru and Masai Mara

This will take you to the famous  Amboseli National Park [Backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro, Lake Nakuru famous for the world greatest bird spectacle, Masai Mara for Wildebeest migration [Seventh World Wonder].

Day 1: 

Pick up at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on arrival. Met and briefed by our guide/tour leader. Transfer to Sarova Panafric for Overnight.(BB)

Day 2

After breakfast  proceed to Amboseli National Park  Lunch at Amboseli Sopa. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at  Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 3:

Early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the whole day in Amboseli National Park. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa  lodge.

Day 4:

8.30 hrs proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch at  Lake Nakuru. Transfer

To Thomsons Falls for photographs. Return back to Lake Nakuru for an  Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5:

8.30 hrs depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar. Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

DAY 6:

Early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the whole day in Masai Mara. (Optional  balloon ride) Afternoon game drive. Evening Game or night game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa lodge

Day 7

Early Morning game drive. Breakfast at the lodge. Take a picnic lunch and spend the Whole day in the Masai Mara going up to the Mara River to be able to capture the wildebeest migration of millions of the wildebeest crossing the river and the action is fantastic and is the Seventh world Wonder.

Take photographs. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 8

Proceed to Nairobi. Free afternoon.

(Optional shopping) Overnight at Sarova Panafric

Day 9

After breakfast pick up from the Hotel and transfer to the Airport

For a flight back home.
